Ray Tennyson was born March 23, 1990 in the city of Oklahoma. Developing the self taught skill of pencil drawing as a child and making the transition into painting seem like the next best thing to do. After obsessively practicing the new skill of painting as an adult while in the military he took a gamble by choosing to make painting portraits as his career craftsmanship. Fresh out the military he started painting numerous celebrities as the focal point of all his artwork for exposure. He landed his first commission painting from a couple that he knew that requested for their wedding photo to be created into a painting in 2011. This birth his love for painting love.
Ray is now an international painting artist that provides paintings for families, weddings and anniversaries worldwide. He believes every beautiful home should have the most high quality craftsmanship paintings of loved ones all around.
So far he has done artwork for a few celebrities like Kim Zolciak from Real Housewives of Atlanta, singer Keri Hilson, Chris Brown and Floyd Mayweather. He has been featured on several news outlets in Oklahoma City and his work featured on Bravo on the reality tv series "Don't Be Tardy" by Kim Zolciak. One of his biggest accomplishments came from one of the charitable organizations he worked with in April 2013 where four of his hometown NBA team paintings he created sold in a live auction at NBA player Thabo Sefolosha "A Night For Africa" charity event for $140,000 helping raise majority of the charities set goal.
In 2015 Ray and his fianceé Brittney created their own sip & paint party events where people with no painting experience can paint amazing paintings while sipping wine. Today they plan to expand their paint party events across the United States for more people to experience.
